Referred to as a Cornet in the local Militia in a letter by his father John Walker in 1707.
Physician in King & Queen County, Virginia. Dr. Walker built and lived at Orange Grove, known as Old Place in the Eighteenth Century. It was on a tract detached from the original Walker patent and most likely given to him by his father John. The house began as a clapboard story-and-a-half structure with dormer windows and two rooms on each floor. The property passed to the Tunstall’s and eventually came back into the hands of the Walker descendents several generations later
